Dear Yoga Practitioner, Joy of Eating My friend Vanessa Alves is a Nutritionist and Holistic Therapist, and I love her wise approach to eating. She doesn’t believe it’s helpful to ban ourselves from eating certain foods. Instead, her approach is to support her clients to nourish themselves well around 80% of the time. This leaves the other 20% for foods that stimulate feelings of delight, joy, and fun. Perhaps such foods (and drinks) have cultural or family significance or somehow or other, they feed our soul.
